San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobili wants answers — because dude spotted an unidentified flying object in L.A. earlier this month … and he’s desperately trying to figure out what the hell it was. Manu eyeballed the UFO when he was in town to play the Clippers on December 1 — and he has since launched a serious investigation into the matter … which involved a lot of Googling. Sports legend building 38,000-square-foot house, with two-story guard house

Retired NBA star Michael Jordan used to dwarf other basketball players by his talent. Now he’s dwarfing neighbors with his spending. Provided by Bears Club Real Estate’s Jeff Lichtenstein, these aerial photos are the first showing real progress on the 38,000-square-foot house that Jordan, 47, started building in Jupiter last year after buying three acres fronted by a golf course. The Chicago Bulls legend, now the owner of the leagues’ Charlotte Bobcats, may not be able to celebrate next Christmas there. But he is well on his way to becoming a resident of the posh golf community founded by golf great Jack Nicklaus. The blueprints that Jordan filed with the city showed showed construction would him back a total $7,627,669, after he plunked down $4.8 million for the land. At more than $12 million pre-construction, Lichtenstein points out, Jordan’s place is one of the most expensive non-waterfront single-family crib in South Florida. About 26,000-square-feet of the building are under air conditioning. There are 11 bedrooms, six on the second floor, a two-story guard house and, of course, a regulation basketball court. The sheer size of the house had local environmentalists blast Jordan for establishing a carbon footprint the size of a hotel.
