Matinee Idol to Return to Radio???
 By Ben Maller Joey Haim, the former co-host of the outrageous Sportsgods radio show on KMAX 107.1, years ago was spotted by a BenMaller.com mole last week in Sherman Oaks. Haim was at the studios of the Premiere Radio Networks. According to the source who is a major radio insider, Haim is itching to get back on the air and resume his broadcasting career. In 1997, Haim was fired by KXTA and then sued the Los Angeles Dodgers, Inc., Jacor Communications Company, XTRA 1150, KXTA, AM 1150 Sportsradio LA, Roy Laughlin and Beau Bennett. Haim lost the law suit and has had trouble getting a radio station to return his calls since. The mole also reports that, even after all these years, Haim is still angry at his former partner Dave Smith. According to the mole Haim still has a couple of butcher knives in his back. permalink |
