Report: Jets coach spit on by fan

Jets coach Rex Ryan was spit on by a fan before smiling and giving that fan a dirty bird, according to a report this morning from Boomer Esiason on WFAN in New York.

Ryan was fined $50,000 for making the obscene gesture at a mixed martial arts event in Sunrise, Florida last weekend.

Esiason will be part of CBS pregame coverage for Super Bowl 44. Boomer will be calling the game with Marv Albert on Westwood One radio.
