Doc Mike banned from calling radio shows?

Doc Mike, a regular radio caller from Chicago, who would often rant about problems the Cubs and Bears are having, has been banned for two years from calling Ben Maller's Fox Sports Radio program or any other radio show, according to BenMaller.com moles.

Mike Witort, 61, aka "Doc Mike" pleaded guilty in the state of Illinois to one count of attempting to practice medicine without a license, a misdemeanor, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A Cook County Judge sentenced Doc Mike to two years of probation that includes a ban on calling radio shows and running a web site.

Witort told Ben Maller he served 44-days in jail after being arrested in late June on a gun charge. He promised to appear on Ben's radio show in August of 2008, after his probation ends.
