Pizza, burgers, funnel cake - mussels?

While Philadelphia fans are shelling out for Flyers and Sixers games this season, know that the Wachovia Center says it will be the first NHL or NBA arena offering steamed mussels in red sauce, according to the PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER.

(Another reason not to wear white pants after Labor Day.) Chickie's & Pete's will dish them out in the Cingular Pavilion, an expansion of the center's main concourse that opens with the Flyers' home season Oct. 5.
