Reds turn pitcher into ballboy after DUI?

As part of his punishment for a DUI charge, pitcher Bubba Nelson served as a batboy during a 'B' game on a back field Friday morning.

He also does extra conditioning early in the morning and has been attending Employee Assistance Program meetings.

"He didn't come to camp in the best of condition and had a hip problem," said Director of Player Development Tim Naehring. We're trying to get him onto a regular throwing program."
