O's "Lemonade Shaking Guy" an All-Star

Miguel Tejada isn't the only Baltimore Orioles fan favorite who is in Houston for the All-Star Game. Marc Rosenberg, who's better known as the "Lemonade Shaking Guy" from Oriole Park at Camden Yards, will be in the stands at Minute Maid Park, doing his full-body shimmy and shake (like "a rooster on acid," he said), selling lemonade.

Twelve vendors, one from each stadium in which Aramark provides the concessions, received all-expenses paid trips to Houston, where they worked both the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. Rosenberg, 39, was selected as Baltimore's representative.

(Among the other "all-star vendors" is Coors Field's "Captain Earthman," a.k.a. Brent Doeden, who claims to be visiting from a distant planet and hands out his cell phone number to fans so they can call him when they want a beer.)

Over the past eight years, Rosenberg has gone from simple lemonade vendor to cottage industry: He has his own Web site, he can be hired for parties, and he's starting to get into motivational speaking and auctioneering.

The man sitting next to Rosenberg on the flight from Baltimore to Houston recognized him as "the shaky guy" from Camden Yards and turned to his wife to say, "Oh, my God, I'm sitting next to a celebrity!" Rosenberg recounted with a laugh.
