Michael Vick’s old dog fighting home is closer to being purchased by a group who plans to make it a happy place for animals. NEWS CHANNEL 3 reports that “Dogs Deserve Better,” a non-profit organization is closer to getting its hands on the site of so much animal abuse.
A few months ago Newschannel 3 introduced you to the group when they had to raise nearly $600,000 to put an offer on the house. Now thanks to donations and a loan the group is just weeks away from closing and moving in.
They plan to refurbish the home and get this, build a memorial honoring the dogs Michael Vick killed during the dog fighting.
