From Roy Oswalt to Ted Lilly, the Dodgers have been linked in trade talks to just about every pitcher known to be on the market. No deal appears imminent, although manager Joe Torre is convinced help will arrive by Saturday’s non-waiver Trade Deadline. He said the club has focused on about 10 pitchers. “I have a sense we’ll do something,” said Torre. “Ned’s [General manager Ned Colletti] been talking to a number of clubs. We’re all thinking pitching, but not limiting it to pitching. My guess is we’ll do something. In my two years here, we have.” — Dodgers.com
