Ivy League hasn’t produced NBA player in five seasons

Among the 20 college conferences that sent one team to this year’s NCAA Tournament, the Ivy was one of only two that hasn’t had a player in the NBA during the past five seasons (the Atlantic Sun kept it company). The Mid-American Conference led the way with eight NBA players in this span—including All-Stars Chris Kaman (Central Michigan) and Wally Szczerbiak (Miami University). The Missouri Valley Conference, which sent several teams to the Tournament over the past few years, had six players in the past five seasons including four this year alone. Four other conferences only had one NBA player in the past five years. — Wall Street Journal
