Colts might use undrafted defensive tackle at fullback?

So Mitch King’s next decision was to sign in January with the Indianapolis Colts, who have a history of getting the most out of undrafted players. The Colts’ defensive line includes Eric Foster and Dan Muir, both of whom were undrafted, as were middle linebacker Gary Brackett, safety Melvin Bullitt and cornerback Jacob Lacey. Could King be the next ideal fit? “I have goals, but I don’t have expectations,” the 24-year-old Iowa native said during last month’s organized team activities. “I’m going to give ‘em my best. I’m going to make it hard for them to cut me. That’s my goal. Right now, I’m just trying to earn a spot.” There is speculation the Colts might try King at fullback on offense, much like they have used Foster and former defensive tackle Darrell Reid. – Indy Star
